overview

The West General Robinson Street multi-family development brings a sophisticated, unique living experience to Pittsburgh's north shore. Meant to be a breath of fresh air, the design utilizes soft, natural elements to create a space that feels elevated and chic in an urban context. As part of the interiors team, we sought to attract and retain residents through human-centered, biophilic design, incorporating nods to Pittsburgh sports, culture, and history.

my responsibilities
  • Responsible for designing a welcoming, sophisticated, and biophilic first-level lobby, lounge, and mailroom that contribute to an overall positive resident experience

  • Developed typical elevator lobby and residential corridor designs that feel warm and refined, while economically viable for the client to repeat across multiple residential floors

  • Designed the 11th floor sports lounge and golf simulator spaces, using SketchUp and Enscape to create renders of a moody, Pittsburgh sports-themed space where residents can gather and socialize
