AE7's Pittsburgh office was tasked with the design of plot 1 of the SEDRA District retail project. The commercial/retail building contains around 14,280 SM of gross leasable area, with approximately 26 leasable storefronts. The development will be a one stop destination for shopping, dining, fitness, and special events — a true lifestyle and social hub for the planned adjacent living community.
my responsibilities

Joining this project at the design development stage, I was responsible for implementing schematic design and developing/submitting the DD and CD drawing sets — detailing restrooms, ceilings, storefronts, and more

Responsible for working with international teams to resolve modeling clashes across all disciplines (structural, architecture, MEP, FP, etc.), working around the clock to coordinate Revit model and drawing set revisions through the start of construction

Assisted in the specification durable materials that struck a balance between refined aesthetics and cost-effectiveness, adding warmth and character through texture and weight
